Tastes like breakfast cereal!

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 banana
  • Handful cashews
  • 3-4 shakes cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 C water
  • (Optional) Handful of spinach

Directions: Cut up the apple, peel the banana, and blend with the rest of the ingredients. Enjoy!

Options: If you do not have a high-powered blender (e.g., Vitamix) you can peel the apple to reduce the graininess. The cashews give it a rich, creamy consistency, but to make this lower in calories you can reduce the cashews or omit them altogether. You can also use a frozen banana to get a frozen custard type consistency. Add a handful of spinach to reduce the sweetness if desired.
