Smoky, savory, and spicy variation on a basic avocado soup. All the good things.

  • 1 Avocado
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Pinch thyme (fresh or dried)
  • Pinch chipotle or smoked paprika
  • Pinch cayenne
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1 c water (or to desired consistency)
  • (Optional) 1 Tbsp miso

Directions: Blend and enjoy!

Options: Miso adds a bit more savory and depth – you can always try it without and see if you think it needs a bit more pizzazz. Watch out about the level of spice, it can sneak up on you. You could up the smokiness by using smoked salt or a splash of vegan worcestershire.
