This delicious bright green sauce goes well with everything. Traditionally Chimichurri uses parsley, but I prefer parsley’s more interesting cousin, cilantro.
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 circles olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lime
- Handful of mint
- Handful of cilantro
- Few shakes salt
- Few shakes of red pepper flakes
Directions: Peel the garlic, rinse the cilantro and mint. Blend all ingredients and serve!
Options/Tips: This is not a super traditional Chimichurri, but it is very flavorful. Experiment with the amount of garlic to your taste. You can sub the lime for lemon if you don’t have one handy.
